Job Description

Seeking a Supply Chain/Logistics intern to train for future positions with a focus on transportation management (all modes and directions), project management, freight procurement, import/export compliance, and KPI development/maintenance.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in developing and maintaining KPIs, on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Learn all aspects of the divisions transportation network.
  • Attend required training courses including effective presentations and negotiation skills as necessary.
  • Interact with engineering, accounting, quality, operations and a host of other functional areas as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or Operations Management degree program. Junior status or higher.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
  • Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Power BI).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  • Must have the ability to work legally in the US without sponsorship.
