Here are the details:
Position: Big Data Developer
Location: Summit, NJ - hybrid (2x per week on site, rest remote)
Rate: Negotiable
Duration: 6-12 month CTH
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
These resources will be supporting the Financial Crimes team to continue new development work on an internal home grown system pulling in data needed for regulatory responses.
Must Haves:
- 7+ years of total experience, primarily as a Big Data Developer
- Experience with Big Data platforms/tools (Linux, HDFS, Hive, Hortonworks, Spark, Scala, Python, Java, Kafka, etc.)
- Experience with APIs, reading from and/or designing new
- Ability to write SQL and interact with data
- Data processing experience (Join, Merge, Transform, Summarize, etc.)
- Ability to design and create data control checks
